The Kingdom Acts Justly
Mar 8, 2026 • Javier Valdez
Micah’s ancient call still echoes today: Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God. Justice is restoration. Kindness is strength under love. Together, they form the Kingdom way of life. Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan demonstrates that compassion is an active principle. Justice begins with seeing, then stepping toward what is needed. Silence may feel safe, but it protects the empire, not the Kingdom. We close the series with the calling that shapes all others: Confront hypocrisy, systemic injustice, and the temptation to protect comfort over truth. The message calls the church to embody the values of God’s kingdom—seeking justice, extending kindness, and living humbly with God in a world shaped by empire.
