The Kingdom Shares Freely

Jesus began His ministry by declaring good news to the poor. The early church lived it, and no one among them lacked anything because they shared all they had with one another. Classism thrives in empire thinking: “more for me, less for you.” The Kingdom breaks that by saying, “All I have is God’s, and I am His steward.”

In a gateway city like Lynn, where economic inequality and housing pressures weigh heavily on working families and immigrants, the Church must live out a generosity that restores dignity. The love of money has stripped away too many opportunities, but generosity reclaims the community.
