Faith That Amazes Jesus

A Roman centurion had a servant who was seriously ill and near death.  He believed Jesus had authority to heal without even entering his home.  His simple confidence in Jesus' authority amazed Jesus Himself.  The centurion understood that Jesus only needed to speak the word.  This encounter challenges us to consider what it means to trust Jesus even when we cannot see the outcome.  Faith should never be us having control - Faith is knowing that Jesus has authority and trusting Him.
