Ash Wednesday

“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

This Ash Wednesday, we return to Genesis 2:7 - Formed from dust, yet filled with the breath of God.  Ashes remind us of our limits, but also of our hope.  We are fragile, but we are loved.  Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, Lent calls us back to what matters most:  Intimacy with the Father and hearts ready for resurrection.

We begin with ashes, and we move toward Easter.
